We will have an audience Q & A session with San Diego's top-notch celiac specializing dietitian EA Stewart, BS, MBA, RDN. The event is geared toward adults and children of all ages.
JUST FOR KIDS: Enjoy our annual pinata fun for kids with gluten-free candies (we will publish the list of candies in advance and you can decide whether you would like your children to eat them in advance) and non-food treats, plus swimming, and lots of climbers and sand play available at the site.
This event is always well attended, and we will have quite a few hard backed chairs and a couple of picnic tables available, but if possible we recommend bringing a few lawn chairs for yourself.
Some of our picnic lunch will be catered by 2Good2B, a dedicated gluten free cafe/bakery. Mountain Mike's will provide the pizza. Although it is not a dedicated gluten free restaurant, employees have been trained in the prep of gluten free pizza.
Bread, fresh fruit, dessert, and bottled water will be provided by NCA San Diego Board Members.
Entrees include a House Salad (mixed greens, cucumber, tomato and shredded carrots, served with balsamic dressing) and freshly baked pita bread.
Chicken breast with zucchini, red onion, bell pepper and button mushrooms. Tossed in a cilantro and citrus vinaigrette and roasted in the oven.

Cost $10/person. Make reservations early as the event is likely to fill up.
