THANK YOU to James Wolosin, MD, one of the heads of Gastroenterology at Sharp Rees Stealy Medical Group for his incredible talk with our support group members April 21, 2018. Dr. Wolosin has also generously provided our group with a copy of his "What's Up with Wheat" presentation slides.
Our group filled every spot in the two combined meeting rooms at Rady Children's Hospital. We learned so much about celiac/non-celiac gluten sensitivity diagnosis, new research, how to find a gastroenterologist knowledgeable about the current testing, and follow-up protocols. We also want to say THANK YOU to Mountain Mike's for the delicious gluten-free pizza they generously donated. We so appreciated learning about the protocols they follow for their gluten-free restaurants.
Additionally, we appreciated the 60 boxes of gluten-free Girl Scout cookies generously donated by Eric Morgan, a Girl Scout Troop Dad. What a great educational program!
